The OPPO Reno is the Chinese smartphone brand’s upcoming camera-focussed smartphone. It features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+resolution and almost no bezels around it. The phone features a 48MP+20MP+3D TOF triple-camera setup at the rear with 10x optical zoom(equivalent to 48MP sensor’s wide-angle lens). At the front, the OPPO Reno features a 16MP selfie camera. OPPO Reno Has Triple Camera Setup With 48MP Sensor, 10x Optical Zoom
While the
OPPO Reno isn’t the company’s first phone with a triple-camera setup, it is company’s first smartphone with a 48MP sensor and 10x optical zoom capabilities. The OPPO Reno has 48MP primary camera sensor (½-inch) with an f/1.8 aperture, 0.8µm pixels, and phase-detection autofocus. The 48MP sensor is paired to a periscope-style 10x optical zoom mechanism so that you can reach where other smartphone cameras can’t. The rear-facing camera also supports
4K video recording at 60fps. The 20MP secondary sensor has an f/2.6 aperture and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The OPPO Reno features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (2340x1080 pixels) and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Its screen is bezel-less and features a small waterdrop-shaped notch at the top to accommodate the front-facing camera. Since it screen, OPPO has managed to include an in-display fingerprint reader. Snapdragon 855 Processor Runs Color OS 6 On OPPO Reno
Qualcomm’s flagship processor for the rest of 2019, the Snapdragon 855, is used in the OPPO Reno. It runs OPPO’s Color OS 6, which is based on Android 9 Pie operating system. OPPO’s new software is a lot cleaner and intuitive compared to previous versions of Color OS. The phone is available in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. There’s a microSD card slot for storage expansion by up to an additional 512GB.
OPPO Reno s 4000mAh Battery Can Be Fast Charged
The OPPO Reno uses a 4065mAh battery (4000mAh typical) that can be fast-charged using OPPO’s Super VOOC Flash Charge technology. Super VOOC Flash Charge technology uses up to 50W charger to rapidly charge a battery. The phone should easily last a complete day after its battery’s single full charge. OPPO Reno’s connectivity features include GPS, dual-SIM card slot (dual-4G LTE), Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac/6, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port. There will also be another variant of the OPPO Reno with 5G connectivity.
